Research Interests
My program of research is focused on understanding the psychological impact of trauma, particularly as it relates to the development and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Specifically, my research interests include the role of specific emotions (e.g., shame, guilt, disgust) in trauma-related psychopathology, comparing emotion regulation strategies on reducing trauma-related emotions, and individual differences in emotional experience and emotion regulation.
