Research Interests:
My primary research interests revolve around the development and treatment of Disruptive Behavior Disorders (DBD; ADHD, ODD, and CD) and more severe forms of disruptive and antisocial behaviors. More specifically, I am interested in understanding how psychopathic traits (e.g., callous-unemotional traits) moderate and influence the presentation of DBD within children and young adolescents. Thus, my interest within treatment outcomes spans across two avenues. First, I am interested in using these developmental findings to refine existing empirically supported treatments for DBD. In addition, I am also interested in designing novel evidenced based treatments for children presenting with more severe conduct problems and callous-unemotional traits.
