Layne Robinson
Clinical Psychology PhD Student
I am a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program. I am a graduate research assistant for Dr. Michelle Martel's RISK lab, where we investigate the effects of hormones on cognition, impulsivity, externalizing behaviors, and ADHD symptoms. In my training, I am specializing in Neuropsychology as I most enjoy making connections between the brain and behavior. After obtaining my doctoral degree, I plan to work in an academic-medical setting as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, where I hope to evaluate brain and spinal cord injuries in clinical populations, continue conducting research, and teach students at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
