Myka Smith-Jackson is a First-Generation Sophomore at the University of Kentucky studying Political Science on the International Relations track and Psychology with a certification in Peace Studies. Myka is heavily involved on campus participating in Model United Nations, Pi Sigma Alpha, Black is Gold University, UGP, and MANRRS. She is currently interning at the Martin Luther King Center and a UK peer mentor. Myka aspires after her journey at UK to work with the United Nations or a Non-Government Organization. For Myka the University of Kentucky has became a home away from home due to building amazing relationships with fellow students,staff, and faculty.
