Movie Screening: Driving While Black

The Biology Department Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee will host a screening of “Driving While Black” in 116 THM at 5:00pm on September 23rd

“Driving While Black” is a documentary that posits major events, like the Civil War or the civil rights movement, are connected to the ability, or lack thereof, of Black Americans to travel. NPR TV critic Eric Deggans says that after watching it, you might never look at your car the same way again (pbs.org).

Admission is free, everyone is welcome, and snacks and drinks will be provided.
