Mimi James Aguilar
Broadly, my research investigates the psychological mechanisms that facilitated the success of anti-LGBTQ+ policies with emphasis on the social and legal ramifications of identity-based violations. I also examine the psychological mechanisms behind extremism through national-levels of thinking, and institutional settings in which college commitment is improved or diminished.
