UK Koru encourages students to participate in a weekly demonstration that introduce mindfulness techniques learned in the KORU Basic Course. If you enjoy the demonstrations, feel free to sign up for our KORU Basic Course and explore the practice of paying attention to whatever is happening in the moment, with curiosity and kindness.

Here are the list of mindfulness techniques that will be introduced and practiced along with the corresponding dates:

RECHARGE with POWER (Prevention, Outreach and Wellness Education Resources)

Join Prevention Outreach, and Educational Wellness Resources for free food, games, and prizes at the RECHARGE with POWER event on March 1st in the GSC around the Social Staircase from 3p-5p.

Have any burning questions about specific Wellbeing resources on campus. Come talk with a variety of Student Wellbeing Experts about all the amazing services the University of Kentucky provides their students. We'll have over 25 different UK resources surrounding the social staircase to provide you the information you need to succeed here at UK.

On the day of, find a registration table and pick up a passport for the RECHARGE t-shirt!

Education Abroad & Exchanges First Steps Sessions

UK International Center's First Steps Information Sessions are a great place to start if you have questions about Education Abroad!

 

In these sessions, we'll discuss what to think about when considering study abroad, how to select a program, cost, financial aid, scholarship information, and more! UK EA encourages all students starting this process to attend one of these sessions, and you must attend a First Steps session before meeting with your EA Advisor.
